Lorebook: Work

Work is productive and creative activity that results in positive changes/developments to the world around it. Many erroneously associate the mere idea of work with the idea of painfully difficult toil marked by confronting resistance, but these and other burdens of work are merely symptoms of the Trespass and False Fullness like most issues Somewhere Else. Work has existed since the times of Blisse but was actually marked there by enjoyment, and the fruit of labor (work) was consistently positive. The Work of Blisse involved developing, joining in creative processes, and enjoying, not merely preserving or guarding. While there are still positive experiences with work Somewhere Else, there are also negative ones. In its corrupted state it does not always bear the positive fruit it used to. Onward, when a renewed Somewhere Else and The Other Side unite, work will return fully to its original character.
