Hotmix is a custom of food preparation found across many different cultures from vastly different regions. It goes by many names and has many different variations while certain core qualities are ubiquitous across many cultures. The general principle consistent to hotmix is the mixing together of various ingredients and elements in a pan or pot, often with broth, eating the elements still hot and being able to continue adding ingredients throughout the process generating various dish iterations (rather than one sit-down meal). It is notable in many cultures for the social aspect often attached to it. Many different things can be hotmixed, from flora to fauna.
