Epochs are divisions of Time Somewhere Else.
Asundering Stains
When Trespass entered Somewhere Else, the entire world was affected. However, the degree to which Creation was corrupted grew worse over time, spanning Epochs, starting with the regions closest to where Blisse had been located, which saw the deepest corruption fastest.
Redemption / Recapitulation
While all People continue to have agency and therefore Trespasses continue to exist everywhere Somewhere Else until The Culmination, the effects of the Asundering Stains on the rest of Creation have been progressively diminished in regions by those who spread the Redemption Directive there.
