Floraunabook (Flora): Yolkfruit
From The Somewhere Else Encyclopedia
The yolkfruit is a plant whose fruit closely resembles an egg, in that it can be broken open and then runs like a yolk. It cooks similar to an egg, though is both sweeter and more savory naturally.
Cuisine
The yolkfruit can be eaten raw by merely applying pressure to the fruit and eating it pure, however it can also be cooked making its 'yolk' warmer and runnier.
