Marriage is the lifelong bonding of two people created differently yet the same, husband and wife, joined together into one by the All-Creator. The joining together can only occur if done by the All-Creator, and thus carries a weight and a power that goes far beyond any society's abilities.

As He had planned, in His love He designed another, the two meant to fit together. They were to love all other People [those to come after them], even as themselves, but He began with two so that they would share a unique love for each other that they did not share with the rest of the People. She to be his, and he to be hers: they were created intentionally different from each other, and yet the same; joining together, He made them into one. Most People after them were to enjoy their own pairing in mystery and devotion of "Marriage" as well. All People were to love each other, but only husband and wife were to be made one in this manner by the All Creator, to make His love and power even clearer in the world that He created. And they would propagate it.

Arranged Marriage

Many marriages, especially among prestigious families, are arranged marriages. Their arrangement, if consented to, does not negate the nature of marriage's joining together nor would it imply a loveless bonding. On the contrary, the two commit their lives to each other and learn to love each other along the way.
