Lorebook: Nakedness
Nakedness is a distinction that People now have regarding whether a body has something concealing or "protecting" certain elements or not. When People were created, they were originally created naked. Nakedness entails the lack of defense: the lack of ability to hide something or to guard oneself against elements. It's for this reason it holds such an important role within Marriage - the two spouses involved in marriage are able to trust in each other to the degree to which they can be completely naked together. This involves both physical nakedness and spiritual nakedness. They hold a relationship not only such that they can be naked together but they hold such love for each other that they rejoice in each other, even seeing every one of their partner's flaws. They also see The Greater Self that their partner can be and will be in The Future Time, and rejoice doubly in that as well.
People continue to enter into the world naked, but they are quickly clothed due to the risks and situations that exist ever since the Asundering Stains entered into the world. Nakedness still holds a place, but depending on the culture is now near-exclusively or exclusively within the context of one's spouse - whom they can not only be physically naked with, but spiritually, thus allowing a level of trust only truly found within a covenant, like Marriage.
