Lorebook: Ruktruun

The Ruktruun are a form of People relating particularly closely to the Original Folk. The majority of Ruktruun live in the isolated highlands and mountains epitomized by Mount Taurikip, with which all clans hold a significant cultural association. Mixed theories exist as to whether the Ruktruun view themselves as inherently superior or merely prefer to live in isolation due to a focus on their own lives and in order to avoid alterations to their culture.

Not much is known about the Ruktruun from those outside of them, leading them to be the target of many different legends and stories of unknown veracity. There are occasionally Ruktruun who leave the isolated clans for life elsewhere, however they are a minority and due to their mysteriousness some Pahmsruun have been known to pretend to be Ruktruun for their own benefit.
